About

The original title of my blog, Over the Moon, was in Italian: Toccare il cielo con un dita.

The idiomatic expression means essentially "Over the Moon!" Life is pretty good at throwing curve balls, but at the end of the day, life is good. God is good. Compassion is awesome. Love is better. So touch the sky!

I spent months in Torino, Italy as an au pair, enjoying good food, beautiful language, and views of the Swiss Alps erupting outside my window.  God fostered a hunger to learn more about my faith and His Church.  He continues to do so today from where I live in mid-atlantic USA.  The Shroud of Turin comes to mind here in America where I am a professor of speech and communication, a motivated purveyor of the Catholic theatre movement, and a dedication to the appreciation of beauty.

I'm an engrosser. I am engrossed in Christ's Church, theatre, art, history, and the family of mine that grows with each hand I shake and hug I share. God blessed me with strong arms, a healthy heart, and eyes for absorption in all things fascinating (which, by the way, is an unending list).
